Duell des Schicksals

This one initially had nothing to do with the previous sandwich-related comic, as I conceived them weeks apart. But upon looking through my sketches I realized I do a lot of comics related to sandwiches. So I think I’m going to attempt to weave a crude narrative through some of my sandwich-related comics before I do what I’ve been wanting to do, which is delve into another damn storyline already.

Oh yeah, this is the first comic I’ve done entirely with my Wacom tablet. So if there’s a noticeable drop-off in the quality of anything, it’s a result of that and nothing else.

Looking over it, I should clarify that Steven has finished his sandwich in panel three and is licking its remains off his fingers. I guess he shoved it in his mouth within the few seconds it took him to process Damian’s complaint. And Damian is angrily crushing his sandwich in the last panel. It’s tough to draw that. Also, since they’re already in the kitchen, I don’t know where he plans on going to make his sandwich. Jesus, I need to think these things through.

I have forsaken sandwiches, and now eat wraps… there is a certain nostalgia
for me in reading this strip *sigh*

Why no jokes about pop tarts? Pop tarts are funny too!
