Come on in My Kitchen

To those I will alienate with this comic, I apologize.  But I’ve decided that since this is the internet, and this is my internet site, I am going to do whatever I want.  This comic won’t go in my portfolio, but I felt like doing it.  So F it.  Oh yeah, and I didn’t color it because it seemed stupid to pretty up something that’s inherently ugly.

I’ve got some aspirations for this comic that I doubt will be acceptable on the comics page.  For example, I’m poised to introduce a stoner character (because I want that kind of mind represented in my comic, and I need more ancillary characters).  I’ve also been wanting to get more into the lives and world of these characters, and some of that stuff seems like it might have to be long-form, graphic-novel-type work.  So if it comes to that, it comes to that.

These might be exciting times.  Or, the responsibility of it all will overwhelm me and I’ll scrap everything and start drawing a comic with talking babies and their pet, a sassy talking ferret.

I like this one. This is the internet age,be as edgy as you want with your comic, people will like it or they wont.

I say ad the stoner character. I have an alcoholic and a dude who is addicted to midget porn in mine. It’s all about how you do it, alot of things are acceptable in web-comics that are not in newspaper strips.
