Love’s Labour’s Lost

This was more Valentine’s Day related in sketch form, but it transmogrified in the process.  I’ve gotten in the habit of eliminating all the unnecessary words from my comics in order to have them go more quickly, and sometimes the relevance suffers in the process.  Though I guess one could argue that it makes this comic more timeless, if one in fact read these comics.

Also, this is my 50th comic.  Hurrah.  And it marks the first time I’ve introduced another character in these parts.  I’ve had this character in one other sketch a few months ago and conjured up her image when I was trying to cook up a love-themed comic, so it made sense to introduce her properly.

More characters.  A slightly more skilled drawing hand.  Less wordy jokes.  My comic is growing.  It’s okay, I didn’t have much of a social life anyway.
