I’m willing to bet that the movie “Wet Hot American Summer” is partially what inspired me to have a series of comics about a talking can.  I didn’t think about it at the time, but now it seems like a cheap theft by me.  In actuality, the impetus to do this comic was that I walked past a tomato can on the way to work for over a week.  I didn’t understand why someone would leave a perfectly good can of tomatoes sitting on the sidewalk, but I enjoyed it.

Also, the decision to color my comics really adds a chunk of time to the production of it.  Oh well, this is the 2000’s, and if everyone else on the “web” is “living la vida loca” then who am I to “hate?”  What a “scrub” I’d be!  Christina Aguilera!
